1. About My JALHotels
  • How can I join the program?
  • Please visit our member's WEB at www.jalhotels.com/myj, or fill in the application form available at the Hotel Reception.
  • How can I withdraw from the program?
  • Please fill in the Withdrawal form, and Email or post it to My JALHotels (MYJ) membership office.
  • Does MYJ membership expire?
  • Membership does not have an expiration date. However if the member's account remains inactive for a consecutive 36 months period, JHC retains the right to delete the membership account.
  • Is there a family card?
  • My JALHotels membership is for an individual. Please hold each card for each family member.
2. About Privileges
  • What are the members' privileges I can take advantage of ?
  • MYJ offers Chain Common Privileges available at all NHI and HJC, as well as the local hotel privileges at each hotel. As Common Privileges you may take advantage of complimentary newspapers, early check-in, late check-out, upgrade (all subject to availability) and bonus mileages depending on the status of the cards.   • At which Hotel can I use this Card?
  • All Nikko Hotels as well as Hotel JAL City are participating the program, however JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel Fukuoka and Pan Pacific Yokohama Bay Tokyu are the exceptions,
  • How can I take advantage of member privileges?
  • Please declare your membership when making a reservation, and present your card upon check-in or when utilizing the hotel facilities.
  • When I make a reservation on-line, can I use MYJ membership No. to log-in?
  • No, the log in ID for internet reservation is an ID of "JALHOTELS WEB member ". While you make a booking, there is an entry field for MYJ information, so please input your MYJ Member No, and membership status to the applicable fields.
  • Do I get the common privileges for rooms with any rate plans?
  • Common privileges for rooms are available for any plans excluding complimentary stays and Air Crew. Although , bonus miles will be offered for mileage eligible plans only.
  • Do I get the privileges regardless of the booking channel?
  • Basically privileges are given regardless of booking channel, however we may not be able to offer some privileges if we can not recognize your MYJ membership upon reservation. We encourage making your reservation at JAL Hotels' Call center, hotel reservation or at JAL Hotels' homepage (www.jalhotels.com), and please quote your MYJ membership so that we can make sure to offer the best available privileges.
  • What exactly do you mean by "subject to availability" for room upgrade and early check-in / late check-out?
  • "One rank room upgrade privilege for Gold members”, and “early check-in and late check-out privilege for Silver and Gold members” will be offered depending on occupancy and when the respective room is available on the day of usage. If you wish to secure the above condition for the room in advance please make a regular reservation with additional charges or difference. The time for early check in and late check out differs by each hotel. Please check with the hotel for further detail.
  • I am a member of other mileage programs other than JMB. Do I get bonus miles?
  • No. Bonus miles will be offered for JMB only.
  • If I become a member, will it be easy to get the reservation confirmation even in a very tight period?
  • There is no special guarantee, however we will always put our utmost effort to best serve you.
  • Do I get any room discounts as a MYJ member?
  • There is no member discounts rates, however please visit our website to check out the promotional offers.
  • Can I take advantage of Common privileges at hotel restaurants even without staying at the hotel?
  • Yes, you may. Please present your member’s card at the restaurant upon usage.
  • Do I still get common privileges at hotel restaurant when I pay by JAL Coupons?
  • No. Please choose either to take advantage of discounts, or to pay by JAL Coupons.
  • Can I get discounts for Restaurants even if I put the bill to my room?
  • Yes you can. However please make sure to present your MYJ card at the restaurant, otherwise the discount may not be applicable.
3. About Member Card
  • How long does it take until I get the Card?
  • It takes 1-2 months after application.
  • How can I take advantage of member's privileges until I get the Card?
  • You can enjoy the privileges from the day of application. Please use the temporary card until you receive the MYJ card. The temporary card is available on the application form or upon registration at MYJ homepage. To credit Miles, please present your Mileage card together with the temporary card.
  • Is it possible to expedite the card issuance?
  • Yes. Although, since it will be a special treatment the charge of USD 130 will be required. Please also note that it will take 3 to 5 business days until the card receipt, from the day of request.
  • Can I share my MYJ card with my family or friend?
  • No. MYJ card is only effective for you. You cannot share the card with your family or your friends.
  • Can a child apply for the MYJ card?
  • Yes, anyone can become a member.
  • The validity on my card is expired, can I still use it?
  • Yes, you can use it as Standard card. The validity on the card is the validity of SILVER or GOLD status.
  • I miss-spelled my name when I registered. Can you re-issue my MYJ card with correct name?
  • Yes we will reissue your MYJ card. Please advise your 1) MYJ number, 2) Name to MYJ membership office and request to reissue your MYJ card.
  • I did indicate my JMB number upon registration, but it was not printed on the card. Why, and can you reissue my MYJ card with JMB number?
  • The entered JMB number was not verified and thus we could not print the JMB number on the MYJ card. Please update it to a correct JMB number via member's WEB at www.jalhotels.com/myj, and we will issue a new card after verification with JMB. If the JMB number is correct, your name or Date of Birth may not have matched with the JMB registration. In such case, please correct your input and contact MYJ membership office with 1) MYJ number, 2) Name, 3) Request to reissue your MYJ card.
  • I lost my MYJ card. What should I do?
  • In the event of loss or theft of a membership card, you are required to notify MYJ membership office in writing, together with (1) membership number, (2) your name, (3) that you lost or being theft. If you forgot membership number, please write down (4) phone number, and (5) address, too.
  • I found a lost MYJ card. What should I do?
  • May we ask to send it to MYJ membership office.
4. My JALHotels members’ WEB page and update of profile.
  • Can I register my mobile mail address?
  • Yes you can. However, you may not be able to retrieve the email sent and the URL, depending on your mobile device. Therefore, may we recommend to register a PC mail address. When the mail is not readable on mobile, it may be solved by forwarding to PC.
  • Can I share email address with the other?
  • No, you cannot. Please register an individual email address.
  • How can I log-in to the member's page(www.myjalhotels.com/en)?
  • Please key in either the MYJ member number or registered email address and the password.
  • How can I change the password? What should I do if I forget my password?
  • You can change your password on the Members' page. If you forget the password, click "Forgot password" and the email will be sent to your registered email address.
  • What can I see on Member's page?
  • You may see your profile, stay history and your member status information.
  • I would like to change my address, Tel, e-mail, etc.
  • Please visit ( www.myjalhotels.com/en) and update your profile. Alternatively please send your updated information to MYJ membership office together with your member number.
5. Membership status
  • Do I get any additional privileges if I am a frequent guest?
  • Yes. Additional privileges are offered to higher status members. For more details please visit www.jalhotels.com/myj
  • How can I get a higher status? Does it have validity?
  • The member status is based on number of room nights registered between Oct to next Sep every year, and the privileges will be offered during Jan to Dec in the following year.
  • If I meet the qualification during the calculation period, when do I become a high status member? And from when can I take advantage of it?
  • We will deliver a higher status card even during the calculation period. You can take advantage of the higher status privileges once you get the card. Usually it takes 1-2 months from the day you reach the target.
  • In the event I can not meet the qualification for the next year when do I loose my status?
  • The privileges of Silver/Gold status are offered until the end of the year. After then, the card is still valid as a Standard card.
6. Stay History
  • From when can I register my stay history?
  • The stay history registration starts from May 1st, 2010.
  • At which Hotel can I register my stay history?
  • Basically the stay can be registered at any Nikko Hotels as well as Hotel JAL City, however JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel Fukuoka and Pan Pacific Yokohama Bay Tokyu are the exceptions, since the contract will be terminated.
  • Can I register a stay for any rate plans?
  • Basically the stay can be registered with any rate plans except for complimentary stays and Air Crew stays.
  • When two MYJ members stay in one room, can both of us register the stay?
  • Yes, both member can register their respective stay history. (Mileage is credited to one of the member only)
  • How can I check my stay history?
  • Please log in to My JALHotels member's page (www.myjalhotels.com/en) and view "Stay history"
  • When will my stay reflected into the system?
  • Due to the system upgrade lately, reflex of the room stay on guest’s page has become much faster. Your stay history can view in a few days after your check-out, though it sometimes depends on Hotel operation.
    As for Hotel miles will remain as present condition taking 1-2 months because of the airline’s verification.
  • Can I combine the stay history of multiple cards?
  • If 2 cards are for one individual, the stay history will be merged. The duplicated stay history will be counted as a single stay.
  • Can I register my stay history before my MYJ enrollment?
  • The stays within 90 days before the enrollment can be registered, provided that the stay is made after the service launch.(May 1st, 2010).Please send a retro-claim to MYJ membership office, together with the hotel folio and your MYJ membership number.
  • Can I register the bonus miles for stays before my MYJ enrollment?
  • The stays before enrollment is ineligible for bonus miles.
7. Retro active claim
  • How can I apply for a retro active claim of my stay history?
  • Please contact the hotel you stayed, or send the retro-claim to MYJ membership office, together with a copy of the hotel folio and your MYJ membership number. Retro can be accepted for 6 months after the stay, provided that the stay is made after the service launch (May 1st 2010.)
  • How can I apply for a retro active claim of bonus miles?
  • Please contact the hotel you stayed, or send the retro-claim to JMB membership office, together with the hotel folio and your JMB membership number.
8. Relation to other membership programs
  • Please describe about each membership program.
  • (1) My JALHotels is a common loyalty program for all Nikko hotels International and Hotel JAL City. It is beneficial to those who use multiple hotels under JALHotels chain.
    (2)Fountains Club is a loyalty program for each Nikko hotel and operated by the hotel. It is beneficial to those who use solely the respective hotel.
    (3)Hotels JAL City is a point program for all Hotel JAL City. It will be terminated by the end of March 2011.
    (4)JALHOTEL WEB membership is to make the internet booking easy by registering guest information. The name was previously MY JALHOTELS, but renamed to JALHOTELS WEB membership. It is a different program from new My JALHotels.
  • I am a Fountains Club's member. Do I become a My JAL Hotels member automatically?
  • No. In order to confirm your will to join the program, please register to MYJ. Please visit our member's WEB at www.jalhotels.com/myj, or apply by filling form available at the Hotel Reception.
  • I am a Fountains Club member. Will there be a change to the FC program?
  • FC common privileges will be terminated as of Mar 31, 2011.
  • I am a HJC Card member. Will HJC card program be terminated?
    If so, what will happen to my accumulated points?
    Do I become a My JAL Hotels member automatically?
  • HJC Card will be terminated on March 31st, 2011. Please accumulate the points and take advantage of rewards until then.

  • I have registered as MY JALHOTELS WEB member before April 2010. Are these same programs? Do I automatically become a member of the new My JALHotels?
  • No they are different programs. Previous "MY JALHOTELS" will change its name to "JALHOTELS WEB member".

  • What is the difference of My JALHotels card and JMB card, or JAL card?
  • My JALHotels card is a membership card of JAL Hotels. JMB is Japan Airlines Frequent Flyer Program; JAL Card is a credit card.
  • How can I become a JMB member?
  • Please visit JAL homepage www.jal.com for member enrollment.
  • Can I accumulate hotel miles by showing my MYJ card instead of JMB card or JAL card?
  • Yes. You can accumulate hotel miles with MYJ card, if your JMB member number is printed on the card face.
  • Can I accumulate hotel restaurant miles by showing my MYJ card?
  • Hotel restaurant miles can not be accumulated by MYJ card.
  • Can I accumulate wedding miles by showing my MYJ card?
  • Yes. You can accumulate wedding miles with MYJ card, if your JMB member number is printed on the card face.
  • Can I accumulate JMB flight miles and partner miles just as JMB card or JAL card?
  • No, the miles which are not related to hotel usage, such as flight miles or shopping miles etc. cannot be accumulated by MYJ card.
